Job Summary
To support the National Institutes of Health's mission, the full-time Senior UX Developer will design and develop data-rich, AI-enabled applications using React and Next.js, while collaborating with stakeholders to enhance user experience and streamline complex workflows in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Lead human-centered design processes through user research, prototyping, and usability testing to inform product decisions
- Architect and build high-performance React applications, ensuring accessibility and responsive design
- Own the delivery and operation of applications across cloud environments, implementing automated deployment and monitoring strategies
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional front-end or product engineering experience, particularly with React and TypeScript
- Proven track record of taking products from concept to production, with a focus on user-centered design
- Experience in building API-driven applications and managing state effectively
- Familiarity with deploying applications in cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or Databricks Apps
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
