Senior UX Research Specialist
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Research Specialist, the full-time remote position will lead end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research cycles, translating user insights into interactive web designs for K-12 educational platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Execute qualitative and quantitative research initiatives, including focus groups and usability testing, with educators and administrators
- Translate user pain points into high-fidelity web designs and collaborate with front-end designers to ensure effective implementation
- Design accessible teacher dashboards and visual data displays, aligning with K-12 grading standards and classroom realities
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience in UX research, interface design, or digital analytics
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field
- Mastery of UI wireframing and prototyping tools, such as Figma
- Experience as a K-12 classroom teacher or instructional coach
- Functional understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 for effective communication with development teams
