Senior UX/UI Designer

Job Summary

Leading the design of high-caliber websites for mission-driven organizations, the full-time Senior UX/UI Designer will shape user experiences and visual design while collaborating closely with strategists, developers, and clients in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple client projects, collaborating with design and strategy teams to develop user-centered web solutions
• Conduct research and discovery phases to inform design decisions, including site audits and stakeholder interviews
• Produce UI Kits and design systems, defining interactions and transitions while ensuring effective collaboration with front-end developers

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading web design for multiple clients in an agency or team setting
• Proven ability to participate in UX decision-making and present design work confidently to clients
• Genuine interest in social impact and experience working with progressive nonprofit organizations
• Ability to work during EST hours (10am-6pm) is required
• Preferred location within commuting distance to NYC for occasional in-person meetings
