Senior VDI Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer - VDI with remote option.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead Engineering resource and subject matter expert on VDI and other end user environments
• Design, develop, implement, and support the VDI ecosystem and other critical end user systems
• Mentor other Systems Engineers and administrators, particularly in the VDI space

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology related subject or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 7 years' experience in a technical role directly working in an enterprise datacenter environment supporting an enterprise VDI environment, preferably in a healthcare related organization
• Vmware Certified Professional or equivalent required within 36 months
• Training, experience, and/or certification in datacenter, server, network, and security standards, equipment, and protocols desired
• ITIL and ITSM Terminology and framework knowledge
