Senior Vice President of AI

Job Summary

Leading the strategy and architecture for AI and data systems, the full-time Senior Vice President of AI will manage engineering teams focused on risk adjustment and quality programs in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define the technical strategy and architecture for AI, data, and analytics platforms, making key build-versus-buy and model-selection decisions
• Oversee the engineering teams responsible for extracting medical codes and quality data from charts, ensuring accuracy and reliability
• Lead cross-functional partnerships with product, engineering, and clinical leadership to align the AI and data roadmap with business priorities

Required qualifications

• Proven experience leading AI and data organizations with the ability to evaluate architecture and model-selection decisions
• Deep expertise in applied machine learning and large language models in production, particularly in clinical contexts
• Experience managing data warehouse and business intelligence functions, with knowledge of cloud data platforms and BI tools
• Demonstrated leadership of multiple technical teams, fostering autonomy while providing strategic direction
• Fluency in healthcare risk adjustment, medical coding (ICD), and quality measurement (HEDIS), or the ability to quickly attain it
