Senior Vice President of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Vice President of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, test, IT operations, and deployment teams while driving AI-assisted development and cloud-native architecture
• Oversee IT operations, ensuring system uptime and incident response, while translating delivery data into strategic insights
• Build and maintain a high-performance engineering team through effective talent management and budget oversight

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field; Master's degree preferred
• 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in SVP-level or equivalent leadership roles
• Experience managing senior managers/directors and senior individual contributors
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and cloud-native architecture, preferably with AWS
• Knowledge of HIPAA, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 compliance, with life sciences or clinical trial industry experience preferred
