Senior Vice President of Manufacturing

Job Summary

To lead the Manufacturing and Supply Chain function in a full-time remote capacity, the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing will manage external manufacturing partnerships, negotiate contracts, and oversee the development of clinical supply strategies for cell therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage a network of contract manufacturers and development organizations for CAR T therapies
• Build and lead the manufacturing and supply chain functions, including contract negotiation and oversight of external organizations
• Develop and manage operational budgets while ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or equivalent
• 15+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 5 years in leadership roles, particularly in Cell Therapy Manufacturing
• Expertise in cGMP manufacturing and regulatory requirements for biopharmaceutical products
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex relationships within a CMO network
• Deep knowledge of managing manufacturing and supply operations for clinical trial products, especially in cell therapies
