Senior Vice President, VPP Strategy

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Vice President, Virtual Power Plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Virtual Power Plant (VPP) strategy aligned with corporate goals
• Lead sales and business development efforts with utilities and grid operators, negotiating contracts for VPP participation
• Develop VPP offerings and ensure compliance with regulatory market rules

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the energy sector, with at least 5+ years in utility sales or DER program management
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• Proven track record in negotiating large-scale utility contracts
• Strong knowledge of VPPs and demand response markets
• Familiarity with California energy regulations and at least one other major U.S. market
