Senior Video Producer
Job Summary
To support the growth of Axios' original video portfolio, the remote Senior Video Producer will manage video production from concept through to publishing, collaborating with various teams to create engaging content for digital platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Produce video content from ideation through scripting, shooting, post-production, and promotion
- Develop creative concepts and deliver engaging videos aligned with Axios' voice and standards
- Coordinate production efforts across internal teams, freelancers, and external partners while managing multiple projects and deadlines
Required qualifications
- 5-7+ years of relevant experience in video production, journalism, or digital media
- Demonstrated ability to produce, shoot, and edit professional video content, supported by a strong portfolio
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience producing for YouTube with a strong understanding of audience development and platform-native storytelling
- Strong editorial judgment and visual storytelling skills
