Senior Video Strategist

Job Summary

Owning and growing Mercury's YouTube presence, the full-time Senior Video Strategist will lead channel strategy, oversee video production, and shape programming across various formats, all while working remotely within the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Own the YouTube strategy and programming, leveraging audience insights and analytics to drive channel growth
• Lead production from concept through publishing, including scripting, creative development, and editing oversight
• Develop scalable workflows and production systems to ensure consistent, high-quality output

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in video, multimedia, social content, or brand storytelling
• Significant experience in growing YouTube channels with measurable audience engagement results
• Deep understanding of YouTube programming strategy, including retention and channel growth
• Experience managing productions and collaborating with freelance editors, producers, and talent
• Strong communication and organizational skills in remote-first environments
