Job Summary
Seeking a remote Senior Videogame Tester on a contract-to-hire basis, the ideal candidate will perform testing of narrative-centric RPG videogames, ensuring quality through bug identification, validation of enhancements, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Test videogames for bugs and quality deficiencies, supporting QA processes
- Validate enhancements and bug fixes while evaluating each sprint's build for quality regression
- Collaborate with the development team to provide feedback and creative solutions for various aspects of game quality
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of professional experience testing narrative or turn-based videogames on PCs and consoles
- Strong understanding of videogame testing best practices and familiarity with UI/UX conventions
- Experience using Unity for game testing and proficiency in business productivity tools like Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and adapt to changing job requirements
