Senior Virtualization Engineer
Job Summary
Providing innovative technical solutions, the full-time Senior Virtualization Engineer will design, implement, and support Managed Services offerings while ensuring high-quality technical support for clients in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver design, implementation, and technical support services to meet client business needs
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems
- Conduct thorough infrastructure planning and problem resolution for complex hardware/software issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- At least five years of experience in large-scale, multi-tenant Data Center environments, including VMware and hyper-converged infrastructure
- Experience with scripting tools such as Microsoft PowerShell and VMware PowerCLI
- Strong understanding of Cisco UCS infrastructure and virtualization technologies
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing customer needs while meeting deadlines
