Senior Visual Designer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Visual Designer and Brand Lead, this position will manage New America's brand identity and graphic design, ensuring high-quality design products across digital and print media while collaborating with various teams to enhance strategic communications.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the development and adherence to New America's brand standards and graphic design strategy
• Design and manage customizable brand templates and collateral for various digital and print projects
• Provide graphic design support for digital products and special projects, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines

Required qualifications:

• At least 6 years of professional experience in graphic design with a focus on brand development
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Experience with design-sharing tools like Figma or Canva is a plus
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling
• A robust portfolio showcasing a solid understanding of visual design principles
