Senior Voice Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure the stable and reliable operation of collaboration services, the full-time Senior Voice Engineer will plan, design, implement, and support enterprise voice and Unified Communications solutions, including Cisco and Microsoft Teams environments, while providing technical leadership and support within the Managed Services organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Cisco Unified Communications environments and Microsoft Teams Voice solutions
• Lead Cisco UC to Microsoft Teams Voice migrations, including coexistence planning and phased cutovers
• Provide Tier 3 / Tier 4 escalation support for complex voice incidents and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• Four-year university degree or college diploma in Computer Science or a related field, or 8-10+ years of equivalent experience
• Cisco CCNP Collaboration (or CCIE Collaboration) certification
• Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate certification
• 8-10+ years of experience supporting enterprise voice and Unified Communications environments
• Strong experience with Cisco Unified Communications platforms and Microsoft Teams Phone architecture
