Senior Vulnerability Management Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the engineering and administration of enterprise Tenable vulnerability management solutions, the full-time Senior Vulnerability Management Engineer will optimize and maintain the Tenable platform while driving remediation efforts in a remote capacity, requiring an active Secret clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimize the full Tenable platform, including Tenable.sc, Tenable Vulnerability Management, and Nessus
• Perform vulnerability scans and analyze data to prioritize remediation efforts based on risk
• Develop automation scripts and integrate Tenable with various platforms while providing technical mentorship to junior engineers

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, vulnerability management, or systems engineering
• Active Secret Clearance (TS/SCI preferred)
• Deep experience administering Tenable.sc, Tenable Vulnerability Management, Nessus, and Nessus Agents
• Strong understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle and remediation processes
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as NIST SP 800-53 and Risk Management Framework (RMF)
