Job Summary

To architect foundational systems for large-scale digital experiences, the full-time Senior Web Engineer will design and build enterprise-level WordPress solutions, focusing on high-performance plugins and themes using modern PHP and React.js, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-level WordPress solutions, including plugins and themes
• Define back-end technical vision and strategy for large-scale projects, addressing architecture, performance, and scalability
• Conduct expert code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and maintainability while collaborating with clients on technical discussions

Required qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in modern PHP
• Deep expertise in WordPress, including plugins, themes, and custom development
• Strong understanding of the Gutenberg ecosystem and block development in React.js
• Experience making architectural decisions focused on performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Agency experience with a background in client work across multiple projects
