Senior WebAssembly Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. WebAssembly Architect to lead the design and implementation of WebAssembly runtime features.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement new WebAssembly runtime features, from concept to production
• Define and deliver ergonomic APIs for asynchronous capabilities, balancing safety, performance, and portability
• Profile and optimize performance while overseeing improvements and problem resolutions with distributed teams

Required Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Programming Languages or Compilers highly desirable
• Experience with WebAssembly is highly desirable
• Several years of experience developing compilers in a significant commercial or open-source context
• Proficiency in a variety of development styles and languages, both static and dynamic
• Strong background in software engineering principles with a focus on crafting robust and maintainable solutions
