Senior Windows VMware Administrator

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Windows VMware Administrator to develop and document system specifications, implement hardware and OS, and maintain high operational uptime while working remotely from Mexico.

Key responsibilities

• Provides systems administration technical expertise to support core business functions and evaluates end user needs to define system requirements
• Installs, monitors, and manages servers and customer endpoints, ensuring system security through proactive patch management and backups
• Documents internal policies, generates usage reports, and manages upgrades while optimizing system performance and user experience

Required qualifications

• 8 - 10 years of experience as a Windows & VMware Administrator
• Proficient in managing virtualized (VMware) operating systems and deploying cloud and on-premises platforms
• Strong understanding of major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• High-level troubleshooting skills at the OS, virtualization, and hardware layer
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and networking topology and protocols
