Senior Wireless Engineer

Job Summary

Leading large-scale enterprise wireless network projects, the remote Senior Wireless Engineer will focus on RF design for complex healthcare environments, ensuring reliable and secure Wi-Fi coverage through design, assessment, optimization, and migration activities across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate wireless RF design requirements and project scope in collaboration with stakeholders
• Identify and document issues, assumptions, dependencies, and risks related to RF design and deployment
• Collect and analyze environmental information impacting RF propagation and review existing network documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Wi-Fi networks
• Proven experience with large-scale RF design projects in complex facilities such as hospitals
• Strong proficiency with wireless survey and design tools (e.g., Ekahau, AirMagnet, Cisco DNA Center)
• In-depth knowledge of 802.11 standards, RF fundamentals, and best practices for enterprise Wi-Fi design
