Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time temporary Senior WordPress Developer will design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and components, ensuring high-performance and accessible web solutions in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and maintains custom WordPress themes, components, and plugins aligned to front-end standards
• Optimizes site performance, including page speed and mobile responsiveness, while troubleshooting technical issues across WordPress environments
• Partners with Marketing/Communications to implement UX and content strategies that enhance usability and discoverability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Five years of experience in web development with a focus on WordPress
• Experience with debugging and troubleshooting WordPress issues
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
• Proficient in the use of code repositories such as GitHub
