Senior WordPress Engineer
Job Summary
To support the CRM, Integration, and Platform Services workforce, the remote Senior WordPress Engineer will design, develop, and maintain secure and high-performing WordPress capabilities while collaborating with government stakeholders and ensuring compliance with operational requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Design, configure, and develop WordPress capabilities, including custom themes and plugins, while ensuring performance optimization and security compliance
- Translate business and operational requirements into technical solutions and support platform architecture and implementation planning
- Troubleshoot complex issues across platform configuration and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align delivery with federal standards
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years of experience in senior platform engineering or application development, preferably in complex enterprise or government environments
- Hands-on experience with WordPress implementation, configuration, and development
- Experience working with Agile delivery teams and translating stakeholder needs into maintainable technical outcomes
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
