Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Appeals Specialist - Workers' Compensation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of post-payment Workers' Compensation bills, including disputes and negotiations
• Conduct outreach to medical providers to resolve disputes and negotiate payment reductions
• Document communications and ensure compliance with state-specific regulations and internal protocols

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in Workers' Compensation bills, medical billing, or insurance negotiations
• Strong understanding of Workers' Compensation reimbursement methodologies and state regulations
• Experience negotiating medical bill payments with providers
• Familiarity with claims processing systems and provider communications
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders both internally and externally
