Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster will adjudicate complex indemnity claims remotely for customers in Colorado and at least one additional state, while accurately managing case documentation and reporting trends to senior management.

Key responsibilities:

• Adjudicate highly complex indemnity workers' compensation claims with significant departmental impact
• Investigate claims thoroughly, including interviewing involved parties and managing claims in litigation
• Prepare reports and negotiate settlements to ensure timely resolution and optimal financial outcomes

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in Colorado and one or more of the following jurisdictions: Kentucky, Virginia, or West Virginia
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
• Licenses required in Kentucky and West Virginia; CO and VA jurisdictional expertise may be accepted without licenses
• Strong understanding of insurance operations and the financial implications of claims management
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other business-related software
