Senior Workers' Compensation Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Risk Underwriter specializing in Workers' Compensation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit comprehensive underwriting packages to insurance carriers for workers' compensation coverage
• Review and ensure accurate assignment of workers' compensation class codes based on client operations
• Manage daily employee underwriting processes and resolve payroll-related issues impacting underwriting

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in workers' compensation risk and underwriting, preferably in a PEO or insurance company
• Strong understanding of workers' compensation, OSHA regulations, and claims reporting procedures
• Experience with PrismHR configuration and troubleshooting from a workers' compensation perspective preferred
• Experience in client-facing roles
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
