Senior World Designer
Job Summary
Collaborating with a team of designers, the full-time Senior World Designer will create immersive and playable environments for an open-world action RPG, utilizing Unreal Engine 5 tools and participating in playtests to enhance gameplay experiences in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Build highly playable spaces that support game activities and enhance player immersion
- Collaborate with other designers and artists under the direction of the Lead World Designer
- Participate in regular playtests, providing and receiving constructive feedback on design work
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in a design role
- Portfolio showcasing professional level-design work and environmental storytelling skills
- Strong understanding of artistic and design philosophies, including composition and flow
- Fluency with Unreal Engine 5 world-building tools, including PGC and World Partition
- Passion for games and a positive attitude with a desire to learn
