Senior Writer

Job Summary

To support the rapid prototyping efforts, the full-time Senior Writer will refine and develop game concepts, create narrative structures, and collaborate with stakeholders to establish the tone and mood of prototypes in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Review and clarify game concepts from a backlog, refining them for development
• Define plot, theme, tone, and mood while creating characters and settings for prototypes
• Organize and conduct recording sessions for story-based audio, advising co-development teams as needed

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of writing experience for games
• Experience with storyboarding in games, TV, or movies
• Strong understanding of soft/gray in-world storytelling
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment
• Service-based attitude with a passion for bringing worlds and characters to life
