Senior z/OS Mainframe Network Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr z/OS Mainframe Senior Network Systems Programmer on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine z/OS software upgrade requirements and coordinate major software upgrades
• Develop and maintain standards for Software Infrastructure and manage multiple projects
• Monitor system trends and consult on mainframe software and hardware initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience with z/OS Mainframe VTAM, SNA, APPN & HPR, and TCP/IP
• Experience providing technical support in a complex mainframe environment
• Proficiency in the implementation and configuration of relevant technologies
• 15+ years of related technical experience
• MS/BS degree or equivalent work experience
