Series 6 Licensed Shareholder Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Shareholder Services Specialist I.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to shareholders and financial representatives by answering inquiries about mutual funds and shareholder accounts
• Utilize compliance procedures and desk policies while maintaining and updating accounts in the recordkeeping system
• Engage in daily communications with shareholders, financial representatives, and internal teams

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business administration, finance, or a related area
• Series 6 or 7 license or ability to obtain within 3 months of employment
• 1-3 years of experience in client services or a related field
• Experience in a back-office or retirement services department, clearing firm, brokerage firm, or mutual fund department
• Knowledge of mutual funds and retirement plans, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
