Job Summary
A company is looking for a Service Center Representative to manage daily claims and serve as a technical expert in health benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Process medical claims and communicate with providers regarding the claims process
- Educate customers on documentation, time frames, payment information, and claim status
- Direct customer calls to appropriate contacts and escalate issues as needed
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required; college courses preferred
- One year of customer service and claims experience or equivalent education and experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and claims management
- Inbound call center experience preferred
- Spanish speaking is a plus, but not mandatory
