Job Summary
To support the claims processing team, the part-time virtual Service Center Representative will manage medical claims, communicate with providers about the claims process, and ensure accurate documentation and issue resolution.
Key responsibilities
- Process medical claims and serve as the primary liaison with callers regarding claims-related inquiries
- Educate customers on documentation requirements, timelines, and claim statuses through various communication channels
- Accurately enter application information into the claims management system and direct calls to appropriate contacts as needed
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required; college courses preferred
- One year of customer service and claims experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and claims management
- Inbound call center experience preferred
- Spanish speaking is a plus, but not mandatory
