Job Summary
Providing remote support, the part-time Service Desk Technician will diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues for end users, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction while managing service requests across various platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnoses and troubleshoots end user desktop application issues and provides appropriate solutions
- Ensures timely resolution of problems or escalations on behalf of customers, maintaining effective relationships
- Documents and implements standard operating procedures and customer service guidelines for remote IT support
Required qualifications
- Associates degree preferred, or equivalent technical training
- 1-2 years of related experience in IT support
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks, and security concepts
- Experience with multi-platform Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with ITSM ticketing tools (e.g., Service Now, Remedy) preferred
