Job Summary
Providing first-line support for end-user IS requests, the hybrid remote Service Desk Technician will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, document resolutions, and assist with technical guidance for users.
Key responsibilities
- Review and troubleshoot reported incidents and service requests, identifying and resolving technical support issues within prioritized timelines
- Document status, progress notes, and resolutions in the service desk tracking system while creating instructional materials and test plans
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of software and hardware components, while managing user account requests and hardware upgrades
Required qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of experience in IT support
- Proficient in Windows 11 and Microsoft O365
- Strong working knowledge of Active Directory user and security group management
- Experience with PC hardware repair and troubleshooting of mobile devices
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred
