Service Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Service Engineer to assist in the smooth operation of a global network.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in customer test & turn-up and circuit troubleshooting
• Liaise with NOC Engineers and maintain network documentation
• Manage preventative maintenance programs and perform network installations

Required Qualifications

• Experience in optical networks and technical facilities
• Minimum of 2 years in an operational environment, preferably in a carrier or ISP
• Degree in an Engineering-related field, ideally with Telecoms or Datacomms modules
• Hands-on experience with power and telecoms equipment installations
• Strong understanding of networking technologies and protocols
