Service Lead - Obsolescence Management

Job Summary

To ensure long-term asset availability and lifecycle value, the full-time remote Service Lead - Obsolescence Management will manage regional obsolescence and spare parts strategies for HVDC and STATCOM systems across Central Europe, acting as a key interface between various teams to support sustainable service growth and customer partnerships.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the regional authority for obsolescence management and spare parts strategy, ensuring alignment with global frameworks
• Identify lifecycle risks and coordinate effective mitigation strategies, including redesigns and upgrades
• Develop and execute regional inventory strategies, optimizing spare parts management based on asset criticality

Required qualifications:

• Solid technical background in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or comparable fields
• Experience in service, lifecycle management, or asset support for complex systems
• Understanding of HVDC and/or STATCOM technologies and long-lifecycle assets
• Experience with spare parts strategies and obsolescence management
• Fluent in English, with German as a strong plus for Central Europe
