Service Support Technician

Job Summary

To support the efficient operations of the surgical department, the full-time Service Support Technician will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing operating rooms, restocking supplies, and transporting patients within the hospital while working remotely during evening shifts from 1pm to 9:30pm.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and disinfect operating rooms between surgical procedures to ensure readiness
• Participate in restocking and resupplying all operating rooms for safe department operations
• Transport patients to Perioperative Services from various hospital areas

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a healthcare or surgical environment preferred
• Knowledge of sanitization and infection control procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings
• Basic understanding of patient transport protocols
