Service Support Technician

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Service Support Technician will perform routine tasks to stock, clean, and transport supplies and equipment, ensuring the efficient maintenance of operating room areas during evening shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Cleans, sanitizes, and disinfects operating rooms between surgical procedures to ensure readiness
• Participates in re-stocking and re-supplying all operating rooms for safe department operations
• Transports patients to Perioperative Services from various areas of the hospital

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a healthcare or surgical environment preferred
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitization procedures
• Ability to work evening shifts from 1pm to 9:30pm, Monday through Friday
• Basic understanding of patient transport protocols
