ServiceNow Applications Administrator

Job Summary

Focusing on ServiceNow CMDB and Configuration Management, the remote contract Applications Administrator will manage and configure the ServiceNow CMDB, support ITIL processes, and ensure the operational health of the system for a large healthcare client.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and configure the ServiceNow CMDB, including CI classes and the CMDB Data Model
• Manage ServiceNow Discovery and maintain integrations with various data sources
• Monitor CMDB health metrics and lead remediation efforts while mentoring junior team members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field
• 5+ years of experience supporting ServiceNow in an enterprise environment, specifically with CMDB administration
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and integration principles
• Practical understanding of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM)
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure components and ServiceNow components such as Transform maps and Business rules
