ServiceNow Business Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a long-term contract basis, the ServiceNow Business Analyst will collaborate with federal clients to gather and document business requirements, manage the Jira project board, and ensure project milestones are met.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements
• Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria for development teams
• Manage and maintain the Jira project board, tracking tasks and progress to ensure project schedules are met

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or combined BA/QA role, preferably in an Agile environment
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar project tracking tools
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience
