ServiceNow Business Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a long-term contract basis, the ServiceNow Business Analyst will collaborate with federal integrator clients to gather and document business requirements, manage the Jira project board, and ensure project milestones are met through effective communication and progress tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and functional requirements for the OGE application
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria for development teams
• Manage and maintain the Jira project board, tracking tasks, issues, and progress to ensure project schedules are met

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or combined BA/QA role, preferably within an Agile software development environment
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar project tracking tools for backlog management and progress reporting
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience
