ServiceNow CMDB Administrator
Job Summary
To ensure high availability and security of enterprise data, the full-time remote ServiceNow CMDB Administrator will manage database consistency, assist with troubleshooting, and support IT Operations Management functions related to Configuration Items and service mapping.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining the assigned DBMS application system and associated security procedures while providing status reports on active projects
- Monitor production databases for space utilization and performance, participating in disaster recovery testing and ensuring standards compliance
- Provide consultation and support to Applications Development areas regarding database and program design and implementation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, or five years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of three years of direct experience in Database Administration or related fields
- At least one year of experience with Database Management Software (DBMS)
- Knowledge of at least one programming language and relevant operating systems or utilities
- Experience or certifications in ServiceNow platform ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping preferred
