Job Summary
Seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer, this full-time role will manage the technical development and configuration of ServiceNow solutions for the Department of Veterans Affairs, focusing on the Single-Pathway Issue-Resolution platform while ensuring compliance with VA requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the technical development and configuration of ServiceNow applications and workflows, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to VA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile Scrum to contribute to sprint planning, manage user stories in Jira, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Proactively identify platform issues, propose solutions, and maintain documentation and change management processes throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience or active CSA and CAD certifications
- Strong proficiency in both front-end (Service Portal) and back-end ServiceNow development
- Experience working in regulated IT environments, preferably within federal healthcare or the VA OIT system
- Familiarity with Jira, Agile Scrum practices, and version control/documentation workflows
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
