ServiceNow Developer

Job Summary

To support a multi-agency ServiceNow instance, the full-time remote ServiceNow Developer will design, build, and maintain custom-scoped applications while managing integrations and administration tasks across ITSM and third-party platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain features within custom-scoped applications for multiple external agency clients
• Build and troubleshoot integrations between ServiceNow and external systems, including REST-based and event management integrations
• Draft client-friendly documentation and conduct root cause analyses to translate technical behaviors for non-technical stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 2-4 years of hands-on ServiceNow development/administration experience
• Solid understanding of the ServiceNow scripting model and scoped application development
• Familiarity with ITSM core tables and SLA/stage logic calculations
• Experience building or consuming REST integrations and writing diagnostic scripts for data remediation
• Strong written communication skills for documenting technical analyses for diverse audiences
