ServiceNow Developer
Job Summary
To support a program with the Department of Veterans Affairs, the remote ServiceNow Developer will design and implement a bi-directional integration between ServiceNow and JIRA, focusing on synchronizing incidents and work items across both platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy integration solutions between ServiceNow and JIRA
- Create a scalable and secure connector for synchronizing incidents, demands, and change requests
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and SDLC standards in integration architectures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent additional experience in lieu of education
- Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs or U.S. Government contracting
- ServiceNow CAD certification and hands-on experience building custom applications on the Now Platform
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and Jira's project structure and workflows
