ServiceNow Developer and Reporting Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Department of Veterans Affairs' Electronic Health Record program, the full-time ServiceNow Developer & Reporting Specialist will manage the development and reporting of ServiceNow-based solutions, focusing on analytics, dashboarding, and performance metrics within a regulated federal IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical development and configuration of the ServiceNow MVP for the Single-Pathway Issue-Resolution platform, ensuring compliance with VA requirements
• Design, build, and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, and native analytics, including reports and dashboards
• Translate stakeholder reporting questions into actionable ServiceNow metrics and collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile Scrum methodologies

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience with a focus on analytics and reporting, or active CSA and CAD certifications with comparable experience
• Strong proficiency in both front-end and back-end ServiceNow development
• Experience building reports, dashboards, and Performance Analytics solutions directly in ServiceNow
• Ability to analyze data, define KPIs, and produce operational insights while developing ServiceNow functionality
• Experience working in regulated IT environments, preferably within federal healthcare or the VA OIT system
