ServiceNow SAM Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a ServiceNow SAM SME.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAM for accurate software discovery and cost optimization
• Act as a bridge between IT Asset Management processes and the technical capabilities of the ServiceNow platform
• Design workflows for reconciliation, entitlement tracking, and compliance reporting using SAM Pro capabilities

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business, computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow, specifically with SAM Pro Plus
• Expert-level proficiency in ServiceNow SAM Pro Plus capabilities and integration into enterprise infrastructure
• Strong understanding of software licensing and compliance to avoid vendor penalties
• Certified Implementation Specialist - Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM) or equivalent certifications preferred
