ServiceNow Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, a mid-level ServiceNow Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and troubleshoot software programs for enhanced ServiceNow systems, supporting DoD customers throughout the software development life cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full-lifecycle software engineering functions on the ServiceNow platform, including design, development, testing, and debugging of software enhancements
• Develop technical solutions in collaboration with internal experts, ensuring a deep understanding of the platform's impact on end products
• Configure and maintain core IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules while ensuring CMDB health and accuracy

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 2-6 years of relevant experience
• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one prior to employment
• Hands-on experience developing within the ServiceNow platform, including knowledge of UI Actions, Business Rules, and Flow Designer
• Experience implementing and maintaining ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM applications
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies, including story writing and sprint planning
