ServiceNow System Administrator

Job Summary

Supporting the implementation and administration of the ServiceNow platform, the full-time remote ServiceNow System Administrator will manage configurations, security, and governance while collaborating with various teams to ensure a secure and compliant environment for a Department of Veterans Affairs program.

Key responsibilities

• Support the configuration and operationalization of ServiceNow instances across various environments, ensuring platform stability and performance
• Manage and maintain ServiceNow instances, including upgrades, health checks, and compliance with security standards
• Establish and enforce governance protocols for ServiceNow configurations, user access, and change management processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of system administration experience, with at least 3 years specifically in ServiceNow platform administration
• Demonstrated experience in configuring ServiceNow users, roles, security controls, and integrations
• Knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks and secure configuration practices
• Strong troubleshooting skills using ServiceNow platform logs and diagnostic tools
