Job Summary
Supporting the Lending Department, the remote Servicing Representative will manage inbound borrower calls, assist with early-stage collections, and resolve past-due balances while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Manage delinquent accounts through inbound and outbound communication with borrowers via phone, email, and SMS
- Negotiate payment arrangements and repayment plans to reduce delinquency and support account rehabilitation
- Maintain accurate documentation of borrower communications and account activity within servicing systems
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-3 years of servicing experience, preferably in personal loans or consumer debt
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated lending environments preferred
- Working knowledge of collection-related regulatory requirements, including the FDCPA and Regulation F
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive borrower conversations with professionalism and empathy
