Session Monitor

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the part-time Session Monitor will oversee tutoring sessions on the Ignite Reading Platform, assist students in the absence of their tutors, and update student progress while ensuring adherence to company policies in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the sessions dashboard to ensure timely attendance of tutors for effective student instruction
• Join tutoring sessions when necessary to support students until their assigned tutor arrives
• Update student progress in SPARK and communicate session information with the team as needed

Required Qualifications

• Completion of the Ignite Reading Certification Process and a minimum of 6 months as an Ignite Reading Tutor
• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to build relationships with stakeholders
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
• Experience with communication platforms, such as Slack, is a plus
• Flexibility and self-management skills while working remotely
