Job Summary
A company is looking for a Settlement Balancing Accountant to join their finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile daily directed funds movements and various clearing and settlement general ledger accounts
- Prepare and record general ledger journal entries while analyzing variances and providing explanations
- Collaborate with internal and external clients to resolve transaction processing inquiries and errors
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Settlement Balancing role within a card processing environment
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
- Experience in accounting systems and completing reconciliations
- Accounting/Finance Degree and/or relevant experience
- Experience in high processing volume environments
